Small outdoor groups in the parks around Hammond Park — all fitness levels welcome, every exercise modified to your ability.

Our outdoor Myofascial Movement Classes combine functional movement, mobility and strength to help you build a body that is strong, capable and confident in everyday life.

Rather than training muscles in isolation, we work with the body as a connected system — moving in different directions, changing levels, shifting weight, pushing, pulling, rotating, carrying and moving to and from the ground.

Classes combine myofascial movement, loaded movement, ViPR training, Animal Flow, resistance bands, bodyweight exercises and a variety of weights to challenge strength, stability, coordination, balance and mobility.

Every movement can be adapted to your ability. You may start with a supported or simplified version and progressively build greater range, control, resistance or complexity as your confidence and capacity improve.

What you'll work on

  • Functional strength — building strength that supports the way you move in everyday life
  • Loaded movement — learning to control your body while carrying, lifting, pushing, pulling and rotating with resistance
  • Mobility & stability — developing freedom of movement while maintaining strength and control
  • Balance & proprioception — improving body awareness, coordination and confidence
  • Multi-directional movement — training your body to move forwards, backwards, sideways and rotationally
  • Ground movement — developing the strength and confidence to move down to the floor and back up again
  • Whole-body integration — teaching different areas of the body to work together rather than training muscles in isolation

These aren't about keeping up with everyone else. You work at the level that's right for your body, with movements adapted and progressed as your strength, movement quality and confidence develop.

The aim is simple: build strength for the way you want to live.
